Woohoo, it's finally time for me to move to Ohio for grad school! We're leaving out in the morning with my Vibe and mom's Trailblazer, both crammed full. I'm amazed at how much we got in those two vehicles. Miss Marcie is stuffed to her little gills, but darnit three large Rubbermaid storage containers *will* fit across the width of the Vibe! Just slam the doors real hard, they'll fit! And lots of boxes and pillows and a computer and a suitcase and dishes and sheets and a bedspread and all kinds of stuff. It's amazing how much the Vibe will hold. And hey, you don't even need aftermarket springs to achieve a 2" drop! I'm gonna try to get some pictures tomorrow if I can...unfortunately my camera is packed and it's somewhere in my car. Haha.Anyway, we're leaving bright and early, and I won't have any internet access until the cable people come on Monday afternoon, so after tonight, I shall see you guys then. I know you'll miss me terribly.

Nothing for him to bring, really, other than his owner! My uncle is bringing my futon and possibly a desk in the bed of his truck, from about 45 min away already in Ohio, and James is coming from Indiana, so we're all coming from three different directions at the same time. Should be interesting to see if it works out right...heh.
The Vibe did her well on the way to her new home! I couldn't believe the amount of stuff she was able to cram in the ol' Vibe... Here's a pic of the Vibe and Trailblazer packed and my car is just kinda there.

Thanks everybody! I finally got back online...the cable guy came early, around 11, but it didn't work. After 30 minutes on the phone with Roadrunner tech support, and even calling the tech back who came and installed it, I surmised while on hold with the level 3 people that the problem was not my modem or my connection, but actually a dead ethernet cable. Apparently there was a dud in my cable modem box. So I'm back now! But not for too much until I finish this unpacking thing...haha.This apartment is super nice, I couldn'tbe more pleased with the size and value for the money.Kharman -- I'm at Miami University of Ohio. Doing the MA in mass communication. So woohoo, Miss Marcie gets 41 mpg loaded down and going through the mountains... So far, aside from the cable modem fiasco, it's been a pretty smooth move!

We met James just outside of Cincinnati (purely by chance but we couldn't have planned it any better if we'd tried) and he drafted off of me the rest of the way...LOL.(And yes, I will study. )
