Especially when the ATR 2ZZ Turbo Kit is going to be selling for $3000.00 complete (Around $4000 installed and tuned) and will be putting out much more power. Supercharger in general is a lot more stable and reliable than a Turbo. It's all just a matter of what it is worth to each individual.

lol good luck selling that at that price. ATR Turbo at half that price will put out 3 times the power that thing will produce.

The 2ZZ has a very high compression ratio,,,how does the supercharger affect this and the how does it affect the engine detonator consequence....

If you add an intercooler, don't try to jam too much boost into it, use the right gas, and tune the computer, it'll work just fine. But it won't make huge HP numbers. I think the link I posted for Sport Compact Car's turbo matrix is floating around in one of these posts.

why bother spending $7500 at all? just take the loss and buy a better more suitable car WITH a turbo already! if only $3000 including install, that's different.

Cause I remember someone saying I should just keep the roofrack Vibe and turbo it...

what i find interesting is that people get all pissy pants because we are married. it's ok to discuss the practicality of turbo charging a car, spending $$$$ as long as you're not related, married, or dating. sheesh! funny how that works. *rolling eyes*

it's not the discussion, it's the competition you call a marriage. pissing matches over who gets to spend more money on cars.anyway, i think it would be silly to spend the cash on the SC when the turbo will smoke it for less $$$.
