My mod: License plate cover

Post by stahl »

Excuse the crappy photo, my camera isn't exactly the newest. The License plate cover (which used to have a sticker with the dealers info on it that I peeled off) has been pained in *drumroll* Moonstone and clear coated. It looks a bit off in the pic, but it matches the car perfectly. I wasn't sure whether it would look good or whether it would lack some contrast, but I'm quite happy with the results. What do you think?

It looks great! It makes it not stand out like it would with the dealers name on it. I like it!

It's a good clean look... like it was made for it. Much better than a dealer advertisment frame.

All you need is the paint code in your junk draw.., erm, glove compartment. You should be able to go to any semi-decent repair shop, have them mix and apply the paint and clear coat it for you, if you don't have any other access to the supplies. That way, if you have a few chips in your paint, they can use the rest of the paint to fix those up as well.
