Yet another "dropped" club member OPINION NEEDED

Post by idontknowwhatimdoing »

OK, here are the pics of round one of the drop...about 2-3" so far with custom made springs (courtesy of Benz spring compnay)...then when I do the air struts I'll repost for the ultra drop shots.I also need an opinion (other than "hey man, wash that thing")I was thinking of keeping the stock wheels and having them powder coated black...let the opinions flow!

Wow that's low!Looks nice though. Like you, I like the stock 17's. I agree though, with the new drop, they need something extra to set them apart from stock. That drop is agressive, the wheels should be too. Powder coated black might be just the thing.Nice work, keep it up!

yea that is a nice drop and it does look good on those rims. If you want to change the rims get them like chrome or the color of the car. personally i dont like black rims (depends on the color of the car though).

hmmm, well I am thinking of going with hotchkis or trd very soon, but I dont want to screw up my ride, I do alot of freeway driving and I dont want the trampoline effect.

I think the stock rims would look cool if you stripped them and polished to a chrome finish.

While black rims with a chrome lip would look awesome, those stock rims just don't look right on the Vibe, especially dropped like that. Go with some 18's at least, too.

I can't really tell how low it is in the pic on the first post. I would like to see the rims powdercoated, I don't think anyone here has done that yet. That would be interesting to see.

Of course Sam's only preaching what we have been telling him. Yeah change the rims or polish that chrome up. Black looks ugly, Gunmetal might look ok.Your going to bag the Vibe? Now I've always wanted to see that. Would have done that to my Vibe if I hardly drove it. lol

I actually think if the roof rack bars matched those rims would look pretty sweet! Flame-on!

Hard to get much perspective when the pictures are 3x the size of my screen... From what I saw, though, might want to make sure the tires aren't scraping the inside of the wheelwells...looks awful close, especially in the back...
