buyer paid for item. had no confimed address and told i will wait for the funds to go into my bank account. he was ok with it. finally cleared my bank but buyer decided to file a claim that i did not send the item. fine. now my paypal is minus in the account. can they take the money out of my account without my permission? i want to ship the item and have it done. i do not try to scam them, but i want my assurance they can not do a charge back or try to say they did not receive it but still want the money back...
If it was me, I would NOT ship the item. He has filed a claim and PayPal has given his money back to him. DO NOT SHIP THE ITEM!I'd e-mail him again and state that you thought you both agreed to wait for the funds to clear before shipping and what was going on.If he files a negative feedback on you, there are dispute proceedings you can go through with Ebay to clear it up.PayPal has changed their policy on transferring funds to the seller in the last couple months. EVEN if the buyer transfers from his checking account, PayPal waits I think 3 business days before depositing it into the sellers account. This is new because before the funds were immediately deposited. This could be the delay the buyer isn't aware of. Even so, a couple days isn't enough for most people to file a claim to get their money back....sounds like the buyer is having 2nd thoughts or something. If they pay with a credit card through PayPal, I think the funds are immediately deposited into your account, but I could be wrong.Definately don't send the package and hope you will get your money.....I'd e-mail the buyer again and see what's up...Just my opinion....and I've had lots of dealings with ebay.
He must have used e-check which has no credit card as a back-up source of funds. It takes a week or so to clear. I made that mistake once but the seller was very understanding.
