I have returned

Post by joholste »

Holy camoly it has almost been 2 months since i last posted wowzers i've been lost and playing army man for a while. so a lot has changed since i last talked to yall. I"m getting promoted to SGT and i'm in the process of applying to join the old Guard up in DC, and leave the 82nd Airborne Division, I have also just gotten engaged this past weekend and am very very happy about that. but as far as my car goes i've had one major issue and that was when my alternator completely died all of the sudden. that sucked and the dealership tried to pin it on me, and i basically told them that if they wanted to try to be stupid and lie then i would call my jag office and they very quickly fixed it for me. but that is all for now.

The Old Guard's official mission is to guard the capitol against nuclear, biological and chemical attack. which i think is funny since there really isn't a lot for an infantry man to do against any of those, except put on his own gas mask, ha ha ha. but the Old Guard also provides the soldiers that do the stuff like Guard of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Caisson Military funerals and that sort of stuff.BTW my knee is good i had surgery on it and am recovering very well, so well infact that on friday i jumped out of an airplane.

Out of gas....out of control? Was there a GOOD reason to jump?? Because that's the ONLY way I'd jump out of a plane....
