I velcroed a camera to my dash a few years back. I never recorded any movies to disk, I was just serving live video over my cellphone data service. I'd be heading to a friend's house, and she'd know my arrival time exactly, because she'd recognize the scenery I was driving past. No need to call and say "I'll be there in 2 minutes".The comments I got from other viewers were mostly along the lines of "It looks like C.O.P.S. with a really low frame rate", or "Have you ever watched Getaway in Stockholm?". Definitely a fun project, I keep meaning to waterproof one and mount it externally, but I haven't yet.
