I've heard a lot of people say that Amour All will actually dry out/discolor the plastic after awhile. I experienced it first hand in my last car. A nice, dark grey dash, slowly got white blotches after 2 years of using it.I now use Simple Green and a microfiber cloth to clean my dash.

There is a version of armourall that is made for dashes like ours. (flat finish)I have heard some good things but to me, armourall is armourall and I have never been a fan of it.Normally, I just wipe mine clean with a cloth.

Use a wet chamois. You will not have the shine but it keeps it nice and clean

Many also have formaldehyde, which is also very bad.The best interior protectant to use is one that has no silicone, no formaldehyde, and includes a UV protectant.Try Vinylex by Lexol. Pep Boys carries it, and lots of places online have it.

We use Meguiars, and have been very happy with it. I don't remember what we used the first time, but it looked awful. I tried the Meguiars when reading a recommendation and have used it since. I use mostly Meguiars products, so it didn't take much convincing to try it.I think this is the one, but will have to dig it out and verify:

I used to use it on my dash but in the winter I beleive it actually makes your windshield fog even more so than it normally would. Someone told me this so I stopped using it for a while and it stopped fogging as much. I don't understand why that happens but now i just use the armoral orange cleaner on the plastic and use a damp leather chamois with salmon oil to wipe it down.

I used to use it or similar on all the cars I detailed but eventually stopped since all it did was collect dust and crap! Now I use a general cleaner and just clean it.It does cause the inside windshield to become cloudy since it constantly evaporates. I hate that stuff on tires too since I can kick up on the rockers, dirt sticks to it and then you have nice black dots all over the rockers. I also hate the idiots that use it at car shows or cruise while their car is parked with all the others. I had a black car years ago and some moron used it a couple cars away. The wind picked it up and blew it all over my car! Had this happen numerous times.

Warm water and a microfiber cloth... add some Simple Green if needed. That's what I use and it works very well.

I keep one of those Swiffer dust rags in the glove box. Those things work great! It's so quick and easy to just wipe the dash. Sometimes I may be at a long stop light and I'll notice the dash is dusty. I just pull out the Swiffer and wipe it down real quick. Keeps the interior looking good. If there is something besides dust on the plastic, which rarely happens, I often just use a damp rag. I used Armor All on my first car and I did not like the greasy feel, attracted dust, the glare, and the fogging on the windshield.

yeah i used to use armor all type products on my dash/console/anything plastic or vinyl, but since my windows are down 99.999% of the time, it jus made the car look dustier. also the hazy windows were a nuisance, but one thing that always worked better than anything (especially when i lived in indiana) was rain-x anti-fog. my windows never got foggy, no matter how hard me n my girl would try lol j/p

I use a Swiffer to clean the dust and dog hair off all the hard pieces in the interior, and then I apply the stuff that GM sells. I get a free lifetime supply of the interior treatment and paint protection from my dealer since I bought the protection package. Yes, I was one of those people. I guess I'll find out in the long run if it was worth it. I can't remember the name of the products, but so far they seem to work okay. I think they're made in Canada so they have to be good, right?

Nice satin finish. Not overly glossy, not greasy. No reflections. A little expensive, but worth it for me.Thanks!
