Vibe 04 theft loc.

Post by kevera »

I need help.I just diconnected my battery and now my stock radio is in theft loc mode.I never programed the code into the radio.I called the dealer and they said they would charge me $50 to reprogram it.I don't want to pay them $50 for 2 minutes of there time.Is there a code anyone knows that the dealer uses to reset the radio.Any help would be great.

It's impossible. The 04 radios did not support theftlock. What makes you think it is?

Agreed, the Vibe shouldn't have any form of Theft Loc on the radio.. unless it's not the stock radio. Does it say LoC on the display? If so, can you get a picture of the radio?

I'm thinking maybe his radio is just not working, in which case perhaps a fuse blew when he reconnected the battery?

If the radio doesn't light up at ALL, or you just see the red flashing light, then yeah, it's most likely a fuse.

What are the symptoms of the radio that make you think it is in thftloc mode? The dealer should know Vibe = no theftloc radioso what's the current status?
