I need a good CD burning software. I hate the Windows Media Player burner. I really want a software that will write CD-Text. I know my burner is capable of doing it but I don't have the software to write it. I would prefer free software but I won't be picky.I am ripping all of my CDs to MP3s and want to burn some high quality CDs.By the way, I am using CDex for ripping, it's a great ripping software, and it's free.http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

iTunes is what I always use for music CDs, and I've never had any problems. For making VCDs and other fun and more complicated stuff, I use Toast. (The Mac relative of Easy CD Creator.)

Just to be different, I say install a recent Linux distro and try k3b, it does fine for CD-Text. For the Winblows world, I believe Nero will allow you to add CD-Text to your audio cd's. Last time I used it was like 2 years ago at work, I would assume it still has the capability. lol! Give that a try... I don't have Winblows around, but I still have to say I wouldn't trust WMP to play my music, let alone burn the crap.

OK, it seems that Nero is the way to go, I don't want the HUGE one that has everything, is there a lighter version of Nero that just deals with CD writing and not all this video editing?

I use Musicmatch. Both for my music media player and for my music burning software. I have had no problems with it. It will even burn data CDs and such.
