http://memimage.cardomain.net/...l.jpgHere's a blurry shot of mine lol. When I ge thome I'll take some good ones. I just repainted them so they are all bright and shiny again. My friend also used my paint for his civic so maybe I'll post those too
Here are pictures of my calipers that I painted last summer. I bought a kit for about $15 from Advance Auto Parts. It included cleaner, can of paint, and a brush. I used some masking tape to get the clean edges and to keep paint off of unwanted parts. It was a simple mod and looks awesome. Front:

I painted mine, I forgot to resize the images before I posted them so I am not going to post them in this thread but here is the link to the ginormous pics.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=10909
A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory.
I have had the kit for about six weeks, but just don't have the time to do it. 24 hours of drying is way to long for me to be w/o a car.

you can get a break caliper kit from g2 (the best and most expensive imo) or another kit from duplicolor that's cheap (and just so-so). also, you can get high heat paint and either spray it on (mask the calipers first) or spray it in a can and paint on for the best (imo) results like i did. you can check out my vibe gt painted calipers on my old cardomain site:http://www.cardomain.com/ride/388840/9

What's g2?
I just finished mine. what a job. My rotors were rusty so I painted them a dark metalic grey, then did my calipers with the color changing paint. It looks awesome, too late for pics. I'll try to post them tomorrow.
There was a whole lot of masking involved. I totally disassembled my brakes to do it also. Being that the paint was a three step process, it took a better part of the day. I couldn't log on to my picture service so I'll just put them on this way for now. 1st. before
Reviving an old thread, but I've done a search and nothing pops up here...I noticed some members have the word Pontiac painted on their calipers. That looks sweet. How did you guys do this to such great detail? Stencils? I'd love to know...

I don't think that they are from Grafx Werks. If you look at JustinVGT's upclose front photo, you can see that the lettering in Pontiac appears to have the same texture as the rest of the caliper (a cast iron look to it). Additionally, I couldn't see any difference or edge to the letters indicating that it was a sticker. However, with as nice as it is, I am definitely convinced it is at least a stencil...

Yes, they are definately from Ryan at Grafxwerks. I got mine there and after a week or so they looked painted, not decals and they still look good today, no color change at all. Jim

Yeah, those are Pontiac decals on my calipers. I got them from Brad (Savedbyzero). I forgot where he got them, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Ryan at Grafxwerks because I remember the website was completely different and they had a larger selection. If Ryan sells them, cool. I've had them on for two years now and they still look great. There are a few nicks in my caliper paint, but you can't see it unless you look real closely.
