Ipass

Post by scherry2 »

I travel on the Illinois Tollway when i go to visit relatives in Wisconsin, and I just used my new Ipass and is it GREAT!!!! 3 and 4 lanes wide a little faster than the posted speed limit and when you get to a toll booth just fly thru in the left lanes at 30 mph. 300 miles in under 4 hours and 30 minutes stopping twice.

Yes, I love my EZ-Pass! I can go from Jersey to Boston never stopping once for a cash toll!

I just got my Vibe and I have an Ipass that mounts on the license plate. Has anyone had problems with these. It worked just fine on my jeep, but not so much on my stratus. granted not many things worked on my stratus

In NJ they claim the window-mounted ezpass won't work in the vibe because of the glass...it's bunk. they tried to tell me i had to get the LP mounted one, but i didn't want that. i've been using the glass mounted transponder just fine, never once had a problem with it not being read...

New Jersey drivers can now pay tolls on Illinois IPass-ready toll roads using their NJ-based E-ZPass transponder. In case anyone is curious...

I was just wondering if the two were compatible. Thanks Mike.

Didn't IL just do away with the window mounted transponders?Thought they were standardizing on the license plate mounted.

I just went from toledo,Ohio to Racine in 4 hours and 45 minutes. But on the way home i made it in 4 hours and 15 minutes. Which is about 300 miles. I did have to stop, and pay at booths. How do, I purchase a Ipass? I plan on going there more often next near.
