removing passenger door panel

Post by furrydogs »

I have searched but could not find instructions on how to remove the front pasenger side door panel. Does anybody know how to remove it or have a link to a previous thread? I've got a rattle driving me nuts and I have to find out what it is and put and end to it!! I have a 2003 with the power package. Thanks for the help.

In the interior door handle there is a little flap, you have to use a very fine tipped flat-head screwdriver to pry this thing open. Remove the screw behind this plate. Then, remove the screw in the arm rest door handle. If you have the M&T package, you also have to remove the tweeter houseing (pull straight out on the top of it and it will pop out) After you have removed both screws and the tweeter housing (if applicable) Pull on the bottom of the door panel, this will pop out the little nubbies holding it in, continue to pull (bottom to top) until you can lift it up and get it off the top of the door.

thanks for the info. I took the panel off tonight and there was this metal things towards the top of the door that had 4 loose screws so I think that's what was rattling. By the way, when putting the door back on should I have put the 2 bottom snaps on first and then work my way up?
