Well, at the ripe old age of 36, and after about 18 years of renting apartments, I am finally taking the plunge and buying my first house! I close in a couple weeks and I'm VERY excited! It's just a teeny tiny little two bedroom house, but it will be MINE to do what ever I want with! I'm already lying in bed at night planning future "mods" to it--starting with the kitchen, which needs some updating badly! So if anyone would like to come help move in mid-May, you are more than welcome! Wouldn't it be cool to have a Vibe Caravan?! Mr. Toolguy already offered to come help my boyfriend lower the Vibe while we are moving, but somehow I think he may have been joking. I just wanted to share my excitement--now I will actually know first hand just how much of my stuff will fit in the back of the Vibe!
And you will be impressed, I promise! The Vibe can hold a lot of stuff for such a "small" car. I enjoy all of this cargo space every time I have to move in and out of my dorm in the fall/spring. My parents are always impressed with just how much room there is in the car!
You can haul a ton of stuff, you will be surprised. Congrats on the house! I just moved into my first house 2 months ago. It's way more work than you think, but it's all worth it.
A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory.
Thanks guys! I'm pretty excited, although it depends on the day and my mood! Some days I'm scared to death and think "this is why God invented apartments--for stupid people like me!" and other days I can't WAIT to get in and start making it 'mine'. But I suppose it's going to be like that forever huh? Some days I'll love it and other days hate it!
He, He, I am fueling all of my cars up now!! My wife will not be much help, since she is done preggers at the time though!Congrats and you will love it!!!!!!!!!!!!
