So I'm driving down Woodward Ave today around 10 am in the morning. I'm approaching Normandy Rd. and what do I see in front of me?????? Is that a.....no way.....isn't that thing illegal to drive on the street!!!! WoW........ The thing was modified with headlights and taillights, and it seated a second person. It was the real thing, and it was loud as hell. If this is what a Magnaflow will sound like on my Vibe......I want one!!!That engine crackled, popped, fizzed, and went VVVVVRRRROOOOOOMMMM down Woodward Ave. By the way, it pulled into Duggan's.

It looks like the car's suspension was raised so it could clear manhole covers, potholes, and of course driveway entrances/exits. I was taking the pics with my cellphone (isn't technology just wonderful!), driving my 5 speed in stop and go traffic, and talking to someone on the phone at the same time! Krazy, I know. I will never do that again, honest.
ROFLMAO!!!!! Great stuff, like Bill Murray in Stripes, when he is driving the cab taking photos of the old lady in the back seat. That is cool, I have never seen that before.

For those screaming FAKE! prove it.Until you can without a shadow of a doubt, I'm going to have a good laugh and comment through Formula 1 cars dont' usually hit the streets, I'd enjoy taking one for a spin myself and most likely never return it hehe.

too funny....LOLlooks like a Champ Car to me...F1 has the fuel hole on the other side of the monocoque ....or a mockup of an IRL....and it's raining....so I hope he didnt have his slicks on.....lol thanks for the pics
first of all, I live in that area, and I recognize the buildings in the background. Secondly, if it is a fake, he did a good job of getting the picture from the view inside his car, because you can obviously see the pictures are taken from inside his silver vibe.also, it's not rain, we had a huge snowstorm this weekendLastly, the picture isn't fake. don't be so quick to jump on that bandwagon.
I have no doubt about its authenticity. Just look at the reflection of the passenger airbag on the front windshield. Wouldn't that be REALLY hard to photoshop over the image of the race car?I saw a post a couple months ago on matrixowners where this owner took a picture of a drag car that was driving through town. It still had huge rear slicks, lexan windows, and a huge wheelie bar!
So what car will you be taking down Woodward during the cruise? It seems like every year more and more people are starting way to early. A few weeks ago, I saw a Ford GT cruising up and down. There's also some guy in an Orange Protege that's been cruising around latley.Anyhow, a line of Vibes/Matrix's going down Woodward during the official cruise would be neat to see.
I will be taking my Vette...During the week is the best since you can actually drive the strip and of course get a few runs in watching out for Royal Oak and Berkleys finest of course. Cops close the street down at around 9:00 or 10:00 I am sure you know. It is getting early and kind of large though... I am sure you know that one too! I am not one of those it has to be a classic to go either. If you have a new minivan bring it! To me and others, it is "the celebration of the vehicle", not just a classic!
That's amazing! I think he's a few months early for the Dream Cruise. If you live in Michigan during the summer months, you allways see drag cars on the road. There's a classic car show somewhere almost everyday of the week!!! That's one of the only things Michigan has going for it are the cars.

Probably some sponsor moving it from point a to point b.ya, look at the Liberty in front of it. over the license plate, there's a logo looking like the sponsor on the side of the car... and on its back up tire's cover, seems to be the same sponsor that the spoiler...
