Well, it is with great sadness that I ship my wonderful $1,025.00 GM supercharger back to it's original owner. It was not as described and was missing many parts. The biggest problem was that the TRD ECU that came with it was for a 4.7L V8. Also missing was the ECU adaptor, throttle body solenoid, thermostat, many hoses. Some of the wiring was questionable. I tried every source under the sun: TRD, Toyota, GM, GM Performance Parts, Toyota dealer, GM dealer and I could not even get a parts list let alone any part numbers. None of them even knew if the parts were available seperately. There is an installation kit available for the Matrix for $1,800.00 but that would not work anyways. I considered using a Greddy E-Manage, I could have got one with all the harnesses, sensors and install software for $450.00 but there was still stuff I would need that apparently is not available. Also the Vibe is my daily driver and I could not afford any down time or other problems. I can't believe none of these big companies has any idea about one of their products. It's pathetic. I am totally bummed out!
that sucks that the guy on Ebay shipped you such a piece.Me and my room mate were just discussing this last night about how bad some people are with Ebay, and how they ruin that site's potential
The seller has been very good about the whole thing. He did not know about the ECU problem etc. It is the suppliers of the Supercharger kit that I am pissed at for not having any support for their product.
Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. That Sucks! I remember the seller mentioned you could get the missing parts from any dealer for about $100? What an a$$. I feel your pain!

Sorry to hear about that Sunny. The dealers really don't know $%!* about these parts. The one time I was trying to find stuff out about the S/C through my local parts dept the guy couldn't find anything on it. It wasn't until I got part #'s and gave them to him that he finally figured out what I was talking about. I'm still looking for a S/C too. Better luck next time! I am definitely hesitant to recommend using Ebay as it is so risky, but I do shop there and usually don't quite get what I was expecting, but you get what you pay for. If it's cheap, there'e probably a reason why. Hope everything works out with getting your $$$ back and all that. Let me know if you find another and there are also some deals on MO.com, so if you don't go there I'll try to keep you posted. Those are new and the only thing we would have to worry about is the ECU.

I was just gonna say that Damron. I went to my dealer and inquire about he GM supercharger's cost and the lady said they didn't even make one for the VIbe!!!! I said "It's an option how do they not make it?!?!?!"I can't even imagine your disappointment Sunny
Sunny sorry to hear about the situation. My S/C was only missing a thermostat and that delayed install a few days. Also the manifold mating surface was mildly scratched, but didn't affect install. The seller on E-Bay said he didn't think it came with the thermostat and didn't know anything about the scratches. The dealers truly know next to nothing about these kits, mine even asked if he could keep the install instructions even though they are on the GM Parts website. I thought the TRD people would be more help they produce the kit and must be getting misc. parts from somewhere.
The seller even offered to let me keep the kit for $625.00 but I had to decline because I couldn't get any of the missing parts. It's very frustrating.
