Question about 2005 intake...possible fix???

O.K. I have read that the o4 and 05 are a tad different due to the extra hose for the smog pump or something of that nature. Well, Is it possible to take a prior model intake and have a fitting welded on it for the extra hose, or is there somthin in the intake istself that needs to be transfered. Just a thought, I am new to the vibe so not an expert as of yet. Aks me a question about the ZX2 and I will know the answer though.

I'm waiting for someone to answer your question dude! I want to put a CAI in my 2005 but it seem nobody makes one but the shorty ram (which I hate)

I think if you want a intake get a CosmoRacing, as they've been tested and are relatively cheap.http://www.cosmoracing.com

I bought 2 CAIs from cosmoracing to put on my 05... and neither one of them work correctly. The first one they sent me was for an 04 and they wouldn't let me return it, so I tried to modify it myself to get it to work with no luck. Waited and ordered another one and they shipped me the right one, but I get a CEL constantly. The CEL didn't start until about a month of having the CAI on my Vibe... so again, I couldn't return it. I'm out all the $$$ for 2 CAIs and I don't have ANY of them on my Vibe... so I'm just a bit upset about all that. If I could get one that actually worked correctly on my Vibe, I would be perfectly happy.

Toasted:I talked to then over the phone and they sounded pretty nice and helpful maybe if you called then and tell them you are form Genvibe they will help you...now if theyn don;t you should talk with one of the adminitrators...anyway if you paid with paypal or card you can dispute a charge anytime stating the part is defected ....
