Alot of the older posts have been deleted..The heavier rims can cause strain on your clutch and drive train. I recommend you get your transmission serviced and have a synthetic transmission fluid put in. It will help with smoother shifting and will help disapate heat better, which basically means the less heat you have = the less friction = longer lasting parts (longevity). Also, I would steer clear of ceramic brake pads because they will cause a lot of brake dust.....They last longer, but I believe they throw off a lot of dust. You should get a high performance brake pad that is SEMI - FULLY METALLIC... Only way to go if you want to keep the brake dust down on those new rims. You also might want to get some Stainless Steel Brake Lines while you are at it......Also, to help Brake Dust from sticking to your rims, I would recommend using a product called REJEX.... You apply it to your rims and the brake dust will wash off without any scrubbing.......I can send you information the REJEX is you want....
