Window tint in Minneapolis

Post by scott_h »

Anyone have any tint shops to recommend in the Minneapolis area? (preferably SW - Eden Prairie, Shakopee, Chaska, etc) I want to tint both our Vibe and Maxima - want to get by inexpensively, but also don't want to cheat on quality.Any recommendations are much appreciated!

Kevin Knapp owns Shaded Image window tinting, he does mobile services in the metro area... so I'm sure he could meet up with you. Tell him Jason at A Plus Performance referred you and he'll give you a good deal!Kevin Knapp612-281-6113kdogg4evr@hotmail.com

Mine are 35% all around (7 windows). MN state law is 50% max but I've never even been looked at twice by cops right next to and behind me.

Any update on the Window Tinting in Twin Cities?I have been quoted prices from 199 to 272. for all 7 windows on my Matrix.Kind of confusing. They where all for metallic content which is supposed to be better and lifetime warranty.Any experience with Zeibart in Bloomington, they seemed resonable.Thinking of 35 all around.Tell us your experiences. Thanks everybody for making the forum great. Thanks,Schroeder

Hey Schroeder!I had mine done at Street Scenes Tint in Spring Lake Park. Ask for Tien.I have 35% and mine cost $275 about 15 months ago.The pricing you got is about right for the Metro area. Also, if you are a member if MNSC - http://www.mnsportcompacts.net you can get a discount.
