RagingServer Switch

Post by ragingfish »

Within the next week, I will be changing web hosts from Rack64 (don't use them, their reliability isn't for CRAP) to 1&1. Once the DNS switches, images will disappear from threads until I get it all my shtuff moved over to the new server, which is a process I anticipate taking several days, up to a week.In that time, if you come across ANY of my posts, no matter HOW old, that are missing pictures, please kindly drop me an IM so I can be sure to check on the images...Thanks folks!

I'm still fighting with my new host to make them enable certain PHP elements for my photo program...I may ditch them shortly (thanks for 90 day money back guarantees!) and go with another host that will be more accomodating.Stay tuned.

I'd take the 90 day guarantee and run.

Believe it or not, I ran out of room on my new host...so not everything got reuploaded.I blew through all 2 GB in no time...so I'm currently, AGAIN, searching for a host that's affordable but offers more space. Stay tuned.

I try to upload individual pics here, so genvibe has to host them but when you've got a whole bunch of related pics, like in some of your walkthtroughs, it can be a pain to have a dozen consecutive "post for image #x" posts. What are you willing to pay, and how much storage/bandwidth do you need? (answers of as little and as much as possible are assumed )
