I was thinking about smoking out my tails, so I wandered over to http://www.bluebatmobile.com, but found that it's broken. Does anyone know if bluebat still actively sells his overlays?
I don't really know! I sent an e-mail a few weeks back about some of the red backup light overlays, never heard a peep back from Bat. Hope he's still selling the stuff, damn I love those fog overlays! I'd still like to make the lexan fog covers like Toolguy has and buy some more overlays.

I IMed him and e-mailed him asking about pics of the other overlay colors for the fogs, never heard anything until about 3 weeks later when i got an email to the effect of "so are you buying or not?"

Any word yet? I also want to have the blackout tails. As soon as I find out something then I'll order the smoke fogs and tails. Have you guys seen how many things hes did for the Trix? Like 10X more things.

I put the post on here that I would allow him to use my Vibe and even emailed him, but he never responded to me.

He said that the Vibe taillight has the two ridges on it thatwould make laying vinyl over it quite difficult unless it was done insections. He'll be looking into some companies that manufacture the quality vinyl that he needs to do this kind of job. Lets keep our fingers crossed on this one. I hope he'll be able to pull this one off! I personally want this badly for my tails He said that the fog light overlays won't be a problem to make. I'll be getting those from him to. I'll let you know what he says when I hear back from him.

I was shooting emails back and forth with him last night and he suggested another option to the vinyl. He said, to spray-tint the lenses with VHT Night Shades, a couple of coats of clear coat and it would give me the exact look I'm after, but it would obviously be permanent. Im really looking for something that will not be so permanent. If needed I would like to be able to take it off. I'll hang in there and keep my fingers crossed!
Robert is correct on all counts. I'll see what I can get in terms of vinyl, I need something flexible that customers can install relatively easily, and I've had a havent been able to find a colored transparent vinyl of that type in the past.I'm hoping to have an answer one way or the other by the end of this week.- RyanGrafxWerks

I've met him in person a couple times and he's a very nice guy. He showed up at our Matrix meet in San Diego yesterday and personally installed some overlays for his customers. If I knew you were waiting for a response from him, I would've asked him about the Vibe overlays. If you come out to one of our SD meets, he can probably fit your car and cut them for you on the spot.

I don't go to MO very often, but I would really like to be in the loop about these meets. I emailed him quite a while back and never got a response. Not very professional if you ask me. If you are going to run a business, with or without a family, you have to be professional and respond to your customers, especially if you make an offer like he did and then never respond to it. I would really like to be informed about these meets, too. Please let me know when you guys are going to be out here. I have yet to meet with anyone but 1 other Vibe owner since I bought my Vibe over a year ago and would really like to. How many times have I tried to get something together for SoCal and get next to no response and you guys are meeting right down the street from me and no one even tells me about it.

The only one I know of would be the Laminx stuff, but I don't know of any other sources. What is the technical name for this kind of material that one could search for?
