Tire Suggestions

I have a 04 Vibe Base. I am gonna have to buy new tires soon but i want to know what i should get. i drive through LA in traffic and all kinds of crap. i want to be able to have a smooth ride and feel and grip. Any ideas??

During the non-snow/ice weather, I run Kumho Ecsta 712's. They have amazing grip, and ride smoothly. But because they're an ULTRA high performance tire, the tread life is limited...I'd say maybe the Kumho Touring Plus 732 would be a solid choice...
