I heard this ad on the radio the other day and didn't believe it. Now here is an article from the Star Tribune. Wow! Buy one get one free! Must be desperate for sales or they are not able to sell the Aveo. So they're giving them away! Here is the article.http://www.startribune.com/sto....html

Ha ha! That's the same marketing Kia was using there for a while. Not sure if it was a national thing, but they had a buy a Sedona at full price and get a free Rio around here not too long ago. Unbelievable, isn't it? But I bet thanks to fat rebates from the General, the dealer's not going to be hurting too much on this one.

He's selling the Truck for Full Sticker...and the Aveo is a base....I'll bet it doesn't have AC, which puts dealer cost at $5,500 or so....about the same amount as the rebate on the Truck....the dealer comes out smelling like a rose....plus the Aveo has a $1200~$1500 rebate too.....

It actually makes a lot of sense. Buy a gas guzzling 16mpg truck for when you really need a truck. For work, hauling a big boat etc. If you just need to travel somewhere with not much stuff, you take the Aveo which runs on fumes. It's like my situation. I have my truck for fishing and hauling firewood and stuff and the Vibe for commuting. It's environmentally friendly too.
Yeah a ford dealership did that down here buy an expedition and get a focus for free.. and that focus was a white base with no A/C... It was the same car they tried to sell for $7000 on special for awhile and noone would buy it because no A/C... I had big argument with dealer about that... I told her it should be illegal to sell a new car with no A/C in southern Louisiana... were the temp. is above 80 for 80% of the year...
put ac on an aveo and you go from HP to 'ponies on emphysema' rating
Salsa 2-tone Basecargo nets, liner and seatback storageThe best thing about having my previous car totaled in an accident is that i got a Vibe to replace it

I heard about this a while back, some outfit out in Texas or something. Not a bad way to get rid og the Jelly Bean cars!
