I did a search on this topic and found the question asked at least 3 times but never answered. Does the mid spoiler deflect enough air to keep all the road spray, crud, salt and dust from collecting on the back window? In our climate, in the winter the back window is always covered in a mix of crud. When you run the rear wiper you can hear the sand grinding against the glass. Anyone with a mid spoiler please enlighten me.An OEM top and mid spoiler just sold for $260.00 on Ebay. It was at $105.00 until there were 5 minutes left in the auction. I would consider buying a mid spoiler if it works and is not just cosmetic.

I have the top spoiler and seen a couple of Vibes with both. Their windows and mine get as splattered as everyone elses. It's just a cosmetic addition.

That's what I wanted to hear. Thanks. Sometimes getting a straight answer to a simple question is like finding a needle in a haystack around here.
