Miles on stock tires

How many miles do you think the stock tires are good for? I'm thinking about upgrading my wheels and tires, but I'd like to get my money's worth for the rubber I already bought.

I would guess at least 50 to 60,000.00 miles if you rotate them properly (every 6000 miles)-(performance tires every 4000 miles)

I have the 16" continentals. Darn, it's tough to wait 5 years to get wheels.... well, at least the car will be paid off by then .
