I have a 2004 base Vibe with the M&T package. Question is: Replaced front and rear door speakers, ran RCA converter from M&T amp wiring for aftermarket amp and subwoofer, noticed yesterday that my front driver's side tweeter (stock) does not work, is it still under warranty after the mods I have made or is there even a warranty at all on speakers? I plan to check the wiring to the amp and tweeter today, but just wanted to know if everything seems good will I have problems going to the dealer and trying to get it fixed under warranty? I know, I know, buy new ones, but I just spent over $300 on the door speakers and more on the sub set-up, $900 on the body kit, and so on and so on, so I'm not really financially capable of just going out and buying new tweets right now. Just want the stock one replaced. They sound good as is. Any info GM guys?

Warranty is probably void on the speakers as soon as you do something with the radio. Now, are you using the stock radio? Did you remove the M&T amplifier? The front tweeters have their own output from the M&T amplifier and will not work unless you specifically wire them back up with the aftermarket amplifier, which requires wiring in a new crossover.

Make sure that none of the m&T wires came loose from the amp, that something isn't just barely disconnected or something. If you haven't changed out the M&T amp or the speakers, then they might be able to check it under warranty.
