Just wondering if there were any other Initial D freaks in the forum. I just picked up #9 tonight and hope to watch it right now if my kid doesn't wake up.

Been wanting to get some of the bigger die-cast(mainly the trueno which I can rarely find), no manga or imports. never really liked manga, just the movies. Cool, another Initial D guy! I love the series. I thought it was going to end, but judging from the box cover it doesn't look like it's going anywhere!

According to Toko Pop's Website the DVD's will be 14 Vol Total. There is a box-set in the works, but I don't believe that one on their websit is the full 14 DVD's, it is probably the 1st 7.The Manga will be 29 Volumes Total. They also just released a full line of Diecast Cars, with Figures here in the US.http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage...e=VAN

well, i'm going to resurrect this thread. i was doing a search for the other anime thread and found this one. i really like initial D. i have seen all but one season of the show, the live action movie, play 3rd stage in arcades, and i even have the crappy PC game. i don't read the manga cause it is just not my style, i don't prefer it. this is a fun show.
