I wasn't aware of it, but early tomorrow morning a probe is supposed to land on Titan, one of Saturn's moons. I find this pretty incredible.http://www.cnn.com/2005/TECH/s....html
With that many agencies with their fingers in the collective cookie jar, I would be amazed that it actually lands without incident. Hopefully it does because there should be some very interesting data and pictures coming back.
Ya beat me to it, raging! I was thinking more along the lines of this:Space observers will note that the Huygens probe landed safely in the bed of the (Nissan) TitanLink to live NASA coverage of the landing beginning at 3 AM EST 01/14/2005 --> http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pa....html
