AFAIK, nobody yet... I'd like to have 'em if I didn'thave to drill through the fender.

Most of the aftermarket ones are POS. I do actually have a pair sitting in a drawer somewhere, but I don't think they'd stand up against the test of time... And yes...drilling through the fender with the chance of permanent destruction is a little frightening.

That would kinda suck to drill through the fender only to have the things break a week after doing all that work (and damage!)But I do think the ones on the Voltz look kinda neat...

I noticed something with the Voltz, there seems to be only one real reverse light. Where our reverse lights are, the right one is red and the left is clear. Did anyone else notice this as well? And what is the point of having one red and one clear. Inder

The red light is a rear fog light. In Europe all cars must have them so you can see the car ahead when its thick fog. They're the same brightness as a brake light.

Yeah, I'd like to have one of those rear fogs on my Vibe just to be different.

So Japan is the only place that got the side repeaters? I know that on the Infiniti G20's in Canada they got the side repeaters as part of the DRL's too....sometimes Canada gets some cool stuff we don't get.... Looks like I'll have to find a JDM source for the Voltz ones.... I'm loving the way they look more & more......

I bet it wouldn't be too hard to wire up if you really wanted...Just get a red overlay from BlueBatmobile or even GrafxWerks if they could do it...Run some wiring from a taillight down to the fog...or if you wanted to be more "authentic" run a wire from the fog switch on the stalk and snake it back to the fog...

I checked on the driver's side a while back (haven't looked at the passenger's side but I would think it was the same) and it does look quite easy. One big bonus is the way the Vibe is wired back there. If I'm remebering correctly, it looks like we have the harness that comes from the front (which I wouldn't want to cut and splice into) which terminates into a connector. From there, a short harness connects and goes straight to the light. So, if one wanted, they could easily snip that short harness and replace it later on with a new one should the need arise to go back to two backup lights.I'd like to have this mod, always have wondered why cars with rear fogs are few and far between here in the States. Pretty common place elsewhere in the world. Any little bit of visibility you can add from any direction is a plus in my book.Slap on an overlay, get power to the light, and you're ready to go...
