Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas everyone! I just got home from a ski trip tonight and I broke my passenger side wiper. This morning before skiing, I cleared off the windshield of all the snow and ice and freed the wipers. Then this afternoon as I was driving home, I needed to clean some dirty spray off my windshield. Well, turned out the blades froze to the glass again. The driver side worked, but the passenger side was frozen solid. When I stopped to get gas, I checked it out and it turns out the ribs that lock the blade onto the bolt are now completely stripped. Does anyone know where I can find that part number and how difficult is this going to be to fix? It appears the only problem is the bolt that protrudes from the base of the windshield where the wiper attaches needs to be replaced. I hope I don't have to replace the entire wiper motor assembly. Anyone have some ideas? Thanks,

I believe what would be replaced is the linkage, which runs about $70...can be quite tricky to install, and not worth your hassle if the car is warranted...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Well, now that it's daylight I took a closer look at the problem. It turns out the bolt is fine thank goodness. Luckily only the wiper arm was stripped. I securely tightened the bolt and now the arm moves. It is probably still best that I replace it sometime since the arm is completely stripped. I'm attaching a pic that you can sorta see what I'm talking about. Anyone know how I can find the part number or where to buy it? I wrote down the following that is stamped into the metal: 1568 219 LDP1D 6494 NWB WP ToyotaI didn't see it on The Ultimate Pontiac Vibe Parts List thread: http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...70961Thanks and Merry Christmas!
