So what all is available right now from RKSport? When I called RKSport they told me that nothing would be available even though I have seen their parts "for sale" on the RKSport site as well as LMPerformance. They said the parts wouldn't be available until mid-January if I recall correctly.

We are currently taking pre-sale orders for the parts that are not done yet. No deposit is required, but your credit card info is required to "hold" the order. Body kit, spoiler, and Carbon fiber roof rail deletes as well as Fiber Glass.RC

Hey Racecrafter, is the original 'RK', namely Bob Smith, still at the helm of the company? If so, tell him hello from Bill at GM of Canada. (He did test driving for me in our motorsports program in the late eighties.)

Would it be possible to get a picture of the underside of the hood to see the fuctionality of the hood and where the outside air gets directed into the engine compartment once it enters the hood? It would be extremely helpful! Thanks,Brian

I work on getting that picture posted somehow. I can tell you that it directs the air right to the stock air box location. So you'd either have to open the top of the air box or be running a CAI for the cold air effect to work.Stay tuned!RC

SU-WEEET!!! Just what I've been looking for... the price is great compared to that other hood... I forget who makes it, but it's almost $1000!!! Will the hood come with the needed adapter, or is it sold separately? (The other hood adapter was $45 or so... as if the $900+ wasn't enough!)Oh, and I noticed it's for '04-'05 models... will it work on an '03 base model? I haven't been keeping up, so I dunno if they've changed anything under the hood. One more thing... have you done any testing to see what the gains are? I'm still getting alot of mixed messages on CAI vs Ram Air (though ram air is undeniably better-looking )~ Z600

Here is the e-mail I just received from Frank Rizzotto at RK Sport:1) The hood is functional2) There is a hole for the prop rod3) The spray nozzles are in the same place4) I unfortunately don’t have pics of the underside, but it is finished, and looks good!5) The hood comes with a gel coat, so it just needs a light sanding, pre fit the hood, and paint. Call me toll free to order, they are ready to ship, Frank 800-214-8030 xt 17 Thanks!Frank

WOW! You Vibe (and Matrix) owners rock! I just returned from the San Diego Auto show and talked to quite a few of you. (None from the forum, at least not that you mentioned.) Much interest in what we are doing with the Vibe. So much so that my little report on the show to the "Big Man" will be that we need to do the 03-04 body kit as well. Thanks to all of those that said Hello!RC

How does the hood handle and incoming water from rain or snow. I didn't see any barriers from the under side of the hood like the SLP hood that could prevent water from getting in the air intake and ruining the engine. It seem like that could potentially be a problem. Here is a pic of the underside of the SLP hood to compare:Brian

I'm just guessing, but if you'll look at the right side of the hood there, you can see a depression running the width of the intake area. If you flip it over the way it should be, that'll be an elevated ridge. Could be used to divide it off, making a large pan on the left side to catch the water. Probably some drain holes in the left side somewhere.I want this thing bad. My wife rolls her eyes every time I mention it. ~Z600
