A brisk Autum morning here too! (Yes, today's the last day of Fall.)Minus 31 C. (-24 F.) with a windchill of -40 (-40) Maybe Winter will be warmer... BTW, the block heater brought up my coolant temperature by 56 F. degrees to exactly freezing.Hey Sunny, how was it up in the boonies where it really gets cold?

Holy cow what a walk to work this morning! I had two coats on - my Sierra Designs polar fleece topped by my Columbia coat, two hats on plus my coat hood, ski gloves, and cotton lined wind pants and I was still freezing. Mostly it was just my face - I had ice on my eyebrows and eyelashes. Oh I must have been a sight!

A little bit of both! Yeah the windchill was -44. Normally a 15 minute walk to work is nothing, but boy did I walk fast this morning! I think I might have gotten there in 10 or 11.

Yeah but you don't want to run, our throats unlike a cold air intake do not make us go faster as we inhale all that cold air lol, talk about a head freeze.
