Installing new horn

Post by UWAdventurer »

OK, the horn on the 2005 SUCKS! LAID on the horn because an old man was backing out into me as I was driving up to him, he never heard me! I got stopped and he backed out in front of me, no accident. Pays to be observant! Time to upgrade, any suggestions?

Installed new horn tonight, extremely easy. Left the original and wired the new one into the same harness. TWO horns now!!!Hope people can hear it now if need be. Not a big horn person, but if you need one I do want one you can hear. Thanks for the help everyone!

I replaced mine for the exact same reason. I stayed away from the little electric disc horns though. Instead, I got (2) dual-tone air horns. That's equal to 4 trumpets! Sounds like a car version of the train blowers! My lights dim whenever I use them, but now everybody hears me!
