I have installed a factory roof into a car that it didnt come in and that is a very nasty and tough job. If it had one from the factory and you were install the same kind it wouldn't be so bad.But if your car didnt come with one then you want to install a aftermarket type because they clamp around the hole you cut.On the Factory moonroofs, They stamp the roof and that forms a lip for mounting.I hope this helps you!

Although I don't have first-hand experience, a friend had problems with her aftermarket sunroof leaking. I'd rather it come from the factory...Just a thought

Putting in the factory moonroof is going to be hard. No Doubt. Also, the headliner is different for a factory moonroof. So you'd have to get a new headliner too, to accomodate the roof. Go with aftermarket.

That isn't going to be a piece of cake, that's for sure. I would imagine you'll be missing many necessary mounting points, componets, whatever since they probably wouldn't be present in those without the roof. And like what was mentioned with the roof panels being stamped differently and the need for a new headliner. The only way I would recommend someone buying that particular moonroof assembly off e-bay would be for someone who needs to repalce their current moonroof due to broken components or whatever. The easiest option would probably be just to trade it in on a Vibe with the moonroof. Not pratcical, since you haven't had your car that long, I believe. If you want the roof, I would side with the others who have suggested aftermarket. A couple around here have done it, and I think they had decent luck with theirs. But like was mentioned, I have also noticed a few leaky aftermarket roofs. Then again, many of our factory roofs do that anyway.
