If you own a vibe with a moulding and live in a metropolitan area (city) Im pretty sure you've ripped your moulding off (not completely) trying to close your door after you've gotten into the car. Now, I am a big boy (6'6 290lbs) I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem or should I just lose weight?I've broken door clips about 5 times on 3 doors already. The problem is they use suicide clips so you cant just snap it back on. They cost freakin $3 a clip. I guess if enough people complain they will problablyly (i hate spelling that word) use a stronger clip.
Not sure what you mean but no, I have never ripped off the Vibe moldings, my wife either and she drives the car mainly. I always use the inside door handle to close the door too, what do you use? Outside door moldings?I have removed the door panel and those clips are reusable, not sure of that is what you mean. Your Super Human Strength is just too much for the car!!!
hes talking about the corner of the molding by the rear part on the bottom of the door. i have had mine popped off by idiots scraping the ground with my door 3 times now.

Yeah Im talking about the moulding on the lower part of the doors, outside obviously. I had it get caught on my pant leg and it snapped. The one design flaw I absolutely abhor. The moulding hangs way to far out the actual door itself.
