i was in autozone buying useless crap for my car when i stumble across a bulldog 1 wire car alarm for 35 bucks.well sense i cant afford the alarm i want right now which is well over 5 hundred. i figure a cheap alarm is better than no alarm.well set on maximun sensitivity i literally have to slam the door hard to get it to sound. and the main wire which is hook to constant 12v and SUPPOSED to sense current wont sense anything short of starting the car. is the anything(like hooking the main wire to a dome light relay or something.(where).i dont know whatim gonna do about the sensitivity issue. also it has a starter relay. the instructions say to splice it between the red wire at the ignition harness(i assumed this was the one hooked to the key cylinder) but it also said the white and black wire was constant power but it wasnt neither was the black and white and i currently have it hooked to the white wire. i used the splice taps for the power wire(easy to take off) but i want to mke sure the red is the starter wire because i have to cut this in half.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
Just my $.02...here is what I would do. Remove the $35 alarm system, take it back and get a refund. Put the 35 away towards the system you want. Wire a hidden switch into the fuel pump relay, and find some car alarm stickers for your front side windows. Most (all) auto theives are stupid, the stickers will deter most of em. For the others the car will not start or only travel a short distance before running out of fuel. Having the car drive 1/4 to 1/2 mile is best, because when it stalls they won't stick around to steal any parts. They will just leave it where it stopped.DEATH TO CAR THEIVES!

Yeah, cheap alarms aren't neccesarily better than none. You might even want to look at Circuit City for the DoItYourself alarms they carry. You can get security for like $50/60.
