Psychobroker and VOTM voting recommendations

Post by damronjr »

As you probably already know, Psychobroker is in the running for VOTM, and I know 1 good reason he only has 1 vote.... obviously no one has seen his cardomain site http://members.cardomain.com/psychobroker! If you had seen the amount of work that has been done to this car, there is no way he would only have 1 vote. I have already voted and just found his webpage and am stunned at the amount of stiff he has done. I commend you on your progress. I am sure there are many other members Vibes in this same situation, not getting credit because people just don't realize what all is there. I think that along with this folder of pictures of the VOTM candidates, there should also be links posted to any sites such as cardomain or others that they have more information posted than is available have here, and if someone is nominated that they should provide us with all the pics and info in one special Nominees thread to use for voting purposes. I just wanted everyone to be able to see the immense amount of time and detail he has put into his Vibe and make that recommendation for VOTM voting and nominations purposes. Also, I suggest that everyone post a link to their pages if they have one on their profiles and if you think you might be worthy of something like VOTM, let us know so we can see what you have! Just my 2 cents!!!

partly the issue is that because christian's vibe has so many things he's done over the past, like other long time members on the board, people tend to forget about all the work and progress over the long course of time.

I like those 2 cents.. I've said before that I'm working on streamlining this process for the future nominations. I agree about creating an area where all the nominees information can be accessed and viewed to give a good, clear understanding of everyone's vehicles. Also, there will be many future VOTM winners so I'm sure Psychobroker and many others will make it in there soon!

I suggest that voting be limited to just 3 (or maybe 4) nominated cars each month. The choice could be made by the number of nominations each car receives, I suppose.IMHO, fewer candidates would make it easier to pick a winner, with less chance of any candidate being 'ignored'.I'd also suggest that past VOTM winners be excluded from re-nomination for a minimum of 12 months, if that isn't already a rule.
