well this past march i had a little ditch diving issue and busted the front lower bumper. thankfully, devlop had his original lower bumper at the michigan super meet he sold me. it's still in the basement in mav's house since they wouldnt let me bring it on the plane. something about it being way too big. *rolling eyes*while installing and updating my vibe issues, i decided to hack off the middle damaged area (similar to devlop's intercooled custom lower bumper) but in not such a nice and refinished way. buy who cares since i'm replacing the whole lower bumper anyways, right? so far, here's the results: cut middle piece and the little tabs that held the lower grills in.and the still damaged area that i'll try to reinforce w/ some handy drilling and metal brackets! like i already said, who cares?! it's being replaced most likely this spring!
Not too bad looking! You can't really tell from a distance, especially since the majority of people on the road have no idea what kind of car they are personally driving I'm sure they wont even notice your bumper.I have a set of screw drivers just like yours btw, black rubber handle with the red plastic oval in the middle

That should hold that a lot better and the repair will not be visible.1 hour worth of work to make it stronger just incase you are hitting any snow...Highly recommended by Rob. well that's basicly what i was planning on doing. something very similar to how i fixed the stupid fender linings. on the back side of the lip, you can't really see it and you won't notice if there's a bolt or two i don't have a rivet gun so i can't do that.. too bad cause it would probably be just as easy and cleaner looking.
no time i repeat NO FREAKING TIME. unless you'd like to go to the store for me, plus pack bags, get dessert for bible study tonight, go on 8 appointments for work from 8:15 am til 5pm, get home, finish packing, try and put the car back together again so it's opperating tomorrow, go to bible study at 7pm and then get back home by 8:30 pm to finish what's still left hanging on the car, clean it, remove everything piled in the back so that you can fit boxes and luggage into the rear, and get ready for 5 day visit that will consist of constant non stop running around... oh did i mention prepare for the 7:30 am weds morning training session that you would be leading followed by another set of 5 appointments in there sometime.... NO TIME!!!!
