My analysis of Vibe Lease deal in that same mailing.MSRP 20,025; 240 a month x 48 months = payments of 11,520, $240 down (1st month's payment).A $20,025 MSRP shoull be able to be purchased for $16,500 assuming the $1,500 rebate, the $1,000 conquest rebate, and a $1,025 discount. Financing a $16,500 purchase at 6% over 4 years would incur finance charges of about $1,950, so the other $9,570 goes towards the depreciation part. Leaves an expected residual of $6,930. Is it a reasonable deal? The original cap cost, % apr and residual are not specified in the mailing so it is hard to tell. If the residual (the buy-out number) is higher than $6,930 I think it is not a very good deal. I wish the govt. would require all lease ads to include the cap cost, % apr, and residual on which the lease is based. Until then. anyone looking for a lease is a sheep about to be shorn.

I decided most lease are that good of a deal. But it does allow people to upgrade in there choice of cars. But then you have to pay more for insurance, and you'll never get any money out of it.I check out the G6 a few weeks ago , I didnt care for it.It's ugly and I'm over 6 foot tall and there roof is way to low. I'll just keep my little old VIBE GT
