Why Vibe > Matrix

Post by tjac003 »

I have yet to see a Matrix on the road with a full set of hubcaps . . .<3 real wheels!

Odd you should mention that.... I see quite a few 'Trixes missing some wheel covers as well. Some are missing them obviously due to the owner's intent, but most are missing one just because, it would seem...I haven't met another Vibe on the road in a couple of weeks now, so with that few around, I haven't noticed the same trend. Then again, 99% of the few that I've seen around here all have alloy wheels anyway. OTOH, I see at least one Matrix every day, and the majority of them don't have alloy wheels.

hubcaps just don't fall off anymore... they are held on by all 5 wheel nut caps...

Mine look pretty well bolted on...LOL. I have run over curbs and never once lost a hubcap.

i dont think either car should be offered w/out alloys. there is a guy that works at quicktrip who has a salsa w/hubcaps, it just looks cheesy. especially for how much you pay for these cars.

Well, the reason I got the steel wheels is because I knew I would want to get some nice wheels further down the road and didn't want to pay extra for factory alloys when I was just going to eventually replace them.
