Im thinking about getting a K&N drop in filter for my Vibe and im woundein if there is a noteciable difference once the K&N is installed. I dont think I want to install a CIA cause its not my car, its my sisters, and I swear it rains everyday here in western PA. I have a K&N in my Lumina, and I like it and i would want one for the Vibe if it helps out cause the stock filter looks very restrictive. Thanks for the info.

I put one in mine the day I bought it. I cant say it helps any, my mileage is on par with everyone elses here. Probably the only benefit of having a K&N in the vibe is you can clean it. K&N state on their website that their filters will not provide more power to an engine when its the intake thats restrictive(i.e. turns and bends.) I also have one in our Montana, and there is a big difference there, but the intake is all straight from where it pulls air in right into the manifold.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I wonder if it might change the tone of the engine a bit, or have you guys not noticed any difference in noise (whether pleasant or not) with the K&N filter in?
