Just got a revised graph on project vibe. We picked up throughout the entire rpm range with less boost. Unfortunately I don't have the overlay between our supercharged baseline and this revised info, but the new graph does include the NA baseline. Car is still completely bone stock, we will be adding the celica header, replacing the cat, and adding water/meth injection. I'll post more updates as they come. In the mean time, we have a great program written for the AEM FIC to work with lexus 440cc injectors. This is for 05-07 vehicles utilizing our adapter plate for the stock drive by wire throttle body. Any questions, please let me know!Tim
That's more like it! Not bad considering the hot day. I know my s/c HATES hot days. Get's real doggy even with the w/i.Are you guys gonna put in some kind of intake? It's kinda pointless to be adding a header and highflow cat without one.How long do you think it would take to just tune the AEM FIC? How long would I be with out my car?

Well we installed the Celica header and off-road down pipe today. Wow, did the car get significantly louder and more responsive! New dyno results to come in the next few days hopefully. Lancer: I'm guessing we could get your Vibe tuned in less than 3 hours on the dyno. You wouldn't be without your car at all, just schedule and appointment and we can do it while you wait. However this assumes you install the FIC before you get here, but our PNP harness should be ready if you wanted one. Thanks,

A lot of the Subie guys run a mixture of water/meth
Cool. I'd like to get the PnP harness. Just keeps things simple. But I won't be able to afford it for a little while. Just startd a new job and I have to dig myself out of a little dept. Maybe another month.Sublimewind,Yes, I use the old winter washer fluid for my w/i. It's got 40% methonal in it.

Not to be a downer here, but I'm still not impressed with those numbers at all.I pulled higher numbers stock straight out of the box.Either you need to pull more timing and adjust the fuel trims in boost.I saw a guy on MO,pull 186hp with the AEM and that I was impressed with.So you're missing something in your tune.

Kevara. Was it an AEM FIC or a complete ECU? Auto or Manual? 03-04 or 05-07? How much boost was it making? Just curious, as you know, there are many variables that come into play when comparing hp. Different Dyno's can have completely different results. Not disputing what your saying, but more info would be helpful.
The guy has an 04 1zz with the celica header,cat-back exhaust and CAI.Now he does have a manual, which I know will be lower with an auto. But he with ended up with 183.2 whp and 158 trq.The only problem I have is spending money on tuning and a controller and seeing the same gains as stock.I still think your tune needs a little tinkering.Ohhhh.....and it's Kevera.

My appolgies on the name spelling, it was unintentional. Those are fantastic numbers and we are working on getting there, but we are having some issues along the way. I completly agree, using the aftermarket engine managment should be an improvement over the TRD ECU. However being that we are working on an 05, this is our only option. Additionally the 05 DBW throttle body is 5mm smaller than the 03-04 cable type. Not trying to make excuses, but trying to be objective with the comparison. Most recently we added the celica header and an off road down pipe and actually lost some power Coincidentally, we lost between .25 and .75 lb's of boost as well More than trying to sell you guys on buying stuff from our company, I'm here to offer the services (Dyno testing) we offer as well as a solution to the 05+ DBW setup. Additionally, I want to be a contributing member of the forum to work towards improving the platform. So....brings us to the recent LOSS of power from adding a much more free flowing exhaust. Not the effect I was expecting, but we are still using the stock intake system....My initial thoughts are that we now need to open that up to properly feed the system. Anyone else have another opinion? Thanks

I totally understand where you are coming from.I also appreciate you taking the time to show your progress and your learning curve. One who is willing to learn, reaps bigger benefits.Since you have added a new header,I would recommend an intake whether short ram or CAI as you will only see the benefits of adding the free flowing exhaust then. The stock air box is way too restrictive.
