Even better - the latest poll questions they've been monitoring deal with how pissed off people are about the gas prices...They've been dropping, less people are angry about this all and are just fine taking it in the backside from the oil companies... so when gas prices DON'T drop, it's only because the public is okay with that.I hope they're not upset only out of compassion and understanding for the disaster... but I would hope they increase in percentages the longer it stays this high.Or we're screwed. Even though we get good gas milage - the world still runs on oil...

2.39 Here, that seems low but I would bet that it will be down below 2 bucks again before first of the year, unless we all start "running to the pumps".

I paid $2.18 for gas today!!!!! I was so thrilled!!! I still had a half tank, but I was so excited to see it so cheap...I just HAD to buy some. Now isn't it sad that we think that $2.18 is cheap? I remember the first time I filled up the Vibe---it was about $10.50...the good ole days....

I remember a couple years ago when I first joined the forum on my 16th b-day I filled the tank completely with less than $15. I posted it on here too. Then SilverAWD responded with "$15 bucks.. Gas went up to a $1.69..."Wouldn't it be nice if it were that cheap again? lol.

Filled up the Vibe for $2.95 (87 octane) last night. I need to fill up the Neon on my way home from work tonight. Wonder what my chances are that I'm actually going to be able to get the same price? Some of the independent stations in my neighborhood are already at $3.09/gallon for 87 octane.

$2.89 this week, was $2.9x last for 87.I bought some other dude gas yesterday for $2.87. What can I say, I saw a a guy I know who works in a different department walk into the gas station and pay for $1.91 in gas, the 91 cents were all in pennies. He seemed like he was really having some rough times lately, I don't know what's up since he works during the day and I do not... But anyway I walked out there and put my card in the machine. Told him "Man, I don't know what all is going on with you, but I can tell that you're not doing so well" and I bought him some gas. He didn't want me to, the $1.91 was enough "to get me home" he said, but eh... Damn, what's up with that, being all nice and stuff? I do that crap every now and then, makes me feel good and stuff. Now, my Vibe could use some gas...
