the HP numbers arnt bad at all, although id defenetly lean towards the stratford turbo cuz its 2k cheaper and usitlizes a bigger turbo, one thing odd about that artical was the 1/4mile times, they simply sucked, Motortrend im pretty sure ran 15.7 stock, thats almost a full second quicker then sport compacts run?? wonder what would happen if motor trend drove the turbos XRS

Yeah pretty nice they got 241 whp on the Celica the kit was original meant for.I'm thinking that since I'm making so much money this summer I'm going to try to fully deck out my car. Meaning...-8.8:1 compression piston heads-forged rods-reinforced cylinder sleeves-turbo kit (hopefully running as above 10 or 12 psi depends how much the engine can take with the reinforcements)-6 point clutch-lightweight flywheel-limited slip differential-APEXi Power FC-Guages + Pod-Nitrous Injection System-New tranny if neededI'm sure that enough to generate quite a bit of hp then afterwards I'd work on that body kit

Your Vibe will be in the shop more than it's on the road Sounds like an awesome plan!

Lol yeah cause you know I'm going to be like "35 psi that sounds fun!" and my next post "Uh.... guys... I blew up my engine already." Then it would be in teh shop for a while heheBut I'm probably going to save up so I can get all the engine components and turbo at the same time so I can just take it to the turbo/blower shop near my house and get it all installed at once. The LSD can wait a while, as can the nitrous, and Power FC. I dunno about the tranny tho that would probably need to go if the engine got over 280 hp no idea what kind of tranny I would put in there either. I would hope it would be a 6 speed as wellAnyone know where to get a new tranny that would fit and take the hp/tq beating?
