I was just wondering since the Matrix has bodykits made for it does Toyota sell more that Pontiac? I would think that they only make kits for teh Matrix because there is more Matrixe's than Vibe's or am I wrong? Who sells more?

The Vibe may outsell the Matrix but there are more enthusiastic Matrix owners out there then are are Vibe enthusiasts... I say this because out of all the TO GenVibe members here, I'm the only one at the Matrix meets, 10-1 every time lol... Its a Vibe/Matrix meet... come on out guys! if we outnumber them in sales, lets show it!

the vibe may outsell the matrix, but the matrix has more of a tuner following than the vibe. or so that's what they think. but i see a ton of matrix here in anchorage, more vibes everyday, but still very outnumbered. and even still, i see some nice modded trixes, but i don't see them on any of the boards. guess they aren't online.
here in north idaho, we see plenty of matrixs, very few vibes. we had a twin of our salsa two tone here in coeur 'd alene, used to wave at each other all the time. they probably think we moved now that the car is history, but no worries, we decided just today that our new vibe will be fusion colored. can't wait!when i travel down to orange county, ca (where i grew up), i'm lucky if i see one a trip, i'm not kidding. lots of matrixs though.
Current car: 2011 Red Hyundai Elantra. Last Vibe: 2005 Fusion Vibe A/T, power group, moon and tunes, ABS, alloy wheels, window tinting, stone/bug shield. First Vibe: 2003 Salsa Two Tone, A/T, power group, totaled by my son in a rollover accident, 7-8-2004
well apparently all the vibes must be purchased in MI! you couldn't go anywhere without tripping on one! never seen so many in my life! more than the dealerships here for sure! LOL
Down her in LA I see a bunch of vibe's and I have only seen one trix in my town.. .but it was riced out.... I went down one streat and saw three vibe's living next to each other two neptune's and one frosty two tone!! they are everywhere.. but mine is the only GT and I only seen one other Fusion but only once think they were just passing through..... and now my wife's uncle saw mine and wants one
I see 69 thousand Vibes around here and maybe like one or two Matrices PER WEEK. I thnk I've seen a total of 6 modified Vibe /Matrices out of like a trilion since 2002 and only two of those were Vibes! Two many people driving them like minivans. Can you believe my 72 year old 7th grade science teacher has a bright yellow Matrix lol. I rolled up next to her at a light and she didnt recognize me at first, but of course like alot of the people out there, don't even realize what kind of car they're driving, so she didn't notice her and I both practically had the same cars...

I just saw three brand new trix's running around... so they on the rise in the deep south...
Mmmm, wasn't part of the deal of Pontiac getting to sell a Toyota was that for every 6 Matrix's they would make 1 Pontiac or something along that line. Or is this for Canada only. Regardless, I would say that the Matrix has a 10 to 1 lead in sales over the Vibe where I live.
It's the same out here, I see tonnes of Matrix's all done up there must be 10 of them compared to the one Vibe I see. I am seeing more of them though like yesterday I saw an Abyss 2005 base Vibe with just the mid spoiler. Looked very nice.

I was in Vancouver for a few days last week, there were more trixes than anything else on the road. They were everywhere!!! Didn't see a single vibe though... Vancouver does have a majority population of Asians. That could explain why. Here in Calgary, i would think more matrixs, but not by too many.

The 3-year-old model continues to sell strongly — better, in fact, than the Toyota Matrix, its mechanical sibling through General Motors Corp.’s joint venture with Toyota Motor Co.p. Pontiac general manager Jim Bunnell credits the Vibe’s popularity to its “unbeatable functionality, fuel-efficiency and cost-effectiveness.â€Â

I know we all love our Vibes for lots of practical and aesthetic reasons. But dont you think that part of its appeal is its relative rarity on the road? I have a 5 speed 1992 Eagle Summit Wagon. It isnt often that I see such a car on the road. I like that.Of course we want the Vibe line to continue but I hope GM sells just enough to keep it going.
