what to do with the vsv

ok, so my Injen CAI is in but the reason it's not running properly is the vsv, I capped the one valve off, like the directions stated, but now I have an open "tee" and two extra wires that are sucking and pushing air and no idea what to do with them, the directions are not complete in this area. Any ideas gang?

If I understand what you're saying, that should be the VSV that gets removed. There is a front VSV and a rear VSV. The front gets removed while the back gets zip-tied out of the way and connected to the CAI. Here is the install guide I used to put mine in. hey thanks for the help, if you look at picture 13 I capped off the hose with the blue plastic ring on it and pulled the rest out, I have another hose that comes from underneith the throttle, I capped that as well, but she stilll idels around 2000 rpm's which is not good, can you think of why that would be? I just had it at a shop and they couldn't figure it out either. thanks again

OK. So you have a hose that comes off the throttlebody, right? That needs to be removed and the cap should go on the connection on the throttlebody itself. If that line is left connected to the throttle body, that could be causing vacuum to leak through that hose with the blue ring. All of the lines that were connected to that front VSV need to be removed. The only line that should be capped is that small connector on the throttlebody.
