05 Vibe AWD - My impressions ;-)

Post by Birdiegirl »

Have had my 05 for only a week. It is what I thought it would be. A fun little car...still have my AWD which I need for long commutes on snowy and/or rainy days here in MN...yet still decent gas mileage..I'm getting 28.5 mpg right now in the hottest of weather with my AC on full.I had a 02 Subaru Forester, (also AWD) which was a practical vehicle for me. But was time to try something new.I need the cargo space for trips to the post office as I have a web store selling dolls (my part-time job). I also need the space to haul saddles and horse equipment around to/from the stables.I don't mind the small engine, it just keeps me from speeding! ;-)The Vibe handles nicer than the Forester (lower center of gravity). By the way, the moon roof is very quiet when open. Was impressed.Robin05 Salsa AWDMoons/TunesSatellite RadioPower Pkgand a bunch of other options.

Welcome. Very glad you like your '05. If you get a chance, snap some pictures and post 'em. We love to see people's rides.
