well for my canadian friends and love, i got a new sticker for the vibe. not real big, but put it on the far lower right side of the hatch. that way it'll be easier to scrape off if it becomes crapped by the weather. i didn't want to put it on the paint since it comes off easy enough already! LOL
you might want to check and see who made the sticker, and call themand tell them that the U.S.flag always goes on the left as you look at it.but it was probably canadian made.

Just a small note - those rules technically only apply when inside the US So if it was Canadian made - likely for Canadian distribution - then the display is correct. But as Hope's a US citizen in a State - I guess technically it's incorrect for her...

LOLsome folks just can't be happy can they? no wonder i don't post on here as frequently.

So she gets a sticker and people will be an (removed) that the flag is on the wrong side? heck its not. Its a sticker sold in canada (though probably made in china) but since its a canadian sticker, we get the left, simple and deal with it.its not a crisis and I'm sure Hope won't get prosecuted in the US for having the canadian flag where it belongs.

LOLRegardless, no one here is trying to put you down for what you did (I like the sticker myself), merely stating facts from what I can see. If you would like (i'm joking), I'll yell "anti-american" to flare things up, but I know that's not the truth. Either way, other than a few people here, I highly doubt someone will try to stop you and say something about it. It's all good.Anyway, I'd like to see a pic of the sticker on your Vibe if at all possible.
oops. sorry, i guess i put that in another forum. my apologies.i'm not saying people are yelling anti-us here. i'm simply stating that it's getting a bit ridiculous that someone can't put a pic of a sticker trying to signify better us-canada relations and immediately someone is there to rip it apart. i am well aware of flag etiquette (i hope i spelled that correctly so people don't think i'm an idiot) and i am extremely patriotic, more so than most American born citizens. i purchased this sticker in toronto so the flag is on the correct side. i guess, like many of the other members who've been here on the board for awhile, i guess i feel that you cannot post anything anymore because someone finds SOMETHING wrong with it. i'm sure there are spelling and grammatical errors in my post and i really don't care either....
yes I agree with Nick, lets see a pic with it on the car.Besides, Hope which side does the american flag face on the vehicle? From inside the vehicle is it on the left side? if so then its on the "right" side

That's their problem if they don't like the spelling, other than that 'grammar' thread, they shouldn't worry about other's spelling, right? To keep it on topic, I'll ask some more questions... How much did the sticker set you back? (I'm stretching here)

You need to save your receipts and fill out some form stating you're a visitor to Canada. I'm sure someone here knows where you can get that information.

no worries dave. just lately, there have been some folks who bring up insignificant issues that don't really matter. then it gets turned into a huge debate. i am a military brat myself. my father served for 26 yrs in the AF, until i was 20 yrs old. then i married a navy sonartech when i was 22. we are no longer married right now i am in a relationship w/ a canadian so this is my gesture of my love for him and my country. even if the flag isn't on the "correct" side. afterall, i did purchase it in Canada. so it's on the correct side for them.
