Looking for a GP GTP.

Post by savedbyzero »

Hey, thought I'd put a bug in your guy's ears. I'm kinda on the look for a 97-99 Grand Prix GTP for a second car. PM if you spot one or have one you're wanting to get rid of. Trying to stay in the $5,000-7,000 range.

I don't currently have any leads on one, but it's a sweet car. I remember wanting a GTP of the bodystyle previous to the one you're looking for. Best wishes to you finding one!

I won't let it go for $7,000 though. It beats my Vibe in all respects. Driving the Vibe is like driving a toy car. Maybe that's why I like it so much.I hope you find what you're looking for. It's a great car.

Don't forget to look at AutoTrader.com and cars.com

My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

I had to go check my pad in the glovebox to get that bit of info. Like I said, though, it's still like a new car to me and not for sale for anything less than $15,000. Guess you can tell I don't want to sell it. Sorry.

Despite what some of the automotive resources out there might say, the resale value of the GP's is pretty good. I know when I traded in my '94 GP (which was only an SE model, not a GTP) I got more than I expected to get for it. That car held up really well, too.

Sorry.I'm not sure of all the options on the car, but would you be willing to go http://www.kbb.com and fill out the private party value, so we can actually see what the value of the car is. Just trying to figure out what it would be around. Thanks!

From looking at their site, it seems that the area can make a difference.
