E. Brake help

I need to adjust my E. Brake on my GT, does anyone know where the adjustment is? (I figure it's under the middle of the car, But I havent looked yet)

we got ours ajusted by GM(yes GM did something right for once)basically ours you had to pull 90% the way to get 100% tightness, otherwise known as "Nine Clicks" we got it done at the michigan meet and now 100% brake is "6 clicks" i would recoomend it if thats the problem

Mine's a little flaky too...hm.. Let us know if you find out where the adjustment is.Anyone with the service manual care to chime in?

I adjusted them by hitting it in reverse, holding the button in and pulling up and letting it back down. after doing that a few times, it was much better.

PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT (DRUM BRAKES)Inspection Procedure1. Raise and support the vehicle.2. Pull the park brake lever with approximately 20 kg (44.1 lb) of force.3. Count the number of clicks or ratchet noises. The minimum number of clicks is 5. The maximum number of clicks is 7.4. Attempt to rotate the rear wheels. Verify the rear wheels do not rotate.5. Release the park brake.6. Attempt to rotate the rear wheels. Verify the rear wheels rotate freely.7. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Verify the red BRAKE warning is OFF.8. If the park brake lever travel is correct, lower the vehicle.9. If the park brake level travel is not correct, complete the Adjustment Procedure.Adjustment Procedure1. Remove the drum brake adjuster hole cover.2. Insert a screwdriver through the hole in the backing plate. Hold the automatic adjusting lever away from the adjusting bolt.3. Use another screwdriver in order to turn the adjusting bolt. Turn the adjusting bolt down in order to expand the brake shoes until the drum locks.4. Turn the adjusting bolt up 8 notches in order to adjust the shoes to the proper distance away from the drum.5. Install the adjuster hole cover.6. Remove the rear center console.7. Loosen the lock nut.8. Turn the adjusting nut in order to adjust park brake lever travel. Refer to the Inspection Procedure above.9. Tighten the lock nut to 5.0 N-m (44.25 lb-in)10. Turn the adjusting bolt up 8 notches in order to adjust the shoes to the proper distance away from the drum portion of the rear disc.6. Install the adjuster hole cover.7. Install the rear tire and wheel assemblies.8. Remove the rear center console.9. Loosen the lock nut.10. Turn the adjusting nut in order to adjust the park brake lever travel. Refer to the Inspection Procedure above.11. Tighten the lock nut to 5.0 N-m (44.25 lb-in)12. Install the rear center console.
